The holidays are stressful enough with food planning, but now that TikToks and Instagram Reels are full of cocktail recipes, it feels like the cocktail bar (pun intended) has been raised this year. I thought I’d do a fun seasonal recipe that doesn’t require a ton of planning or prep, to keep things realistic and simple for anyone interested. In fact, I bet you already have most of these ingredients in your kitchen right now.

This is play on a Whiskey Sour with a holiday twist. I hope you enjoy!
You will need:
- 1 can High Peaks Black Cherry Sparkling Water and Hemp Extract
- 1 teaspoon of pomegranate seeds per cocktail
- Bourbon
- Pama Pomegranate Liqueur
- Lemon juice
- Lime juice
- Simple syrup
- The glass should be tall, I recommend either one like in the picture or a Champagne Flute
Winter Whiskey Sour
In a shaker add:
- 1 ounce bourbon
- ¾ ounce simple syrup
- ½ ounce lime juice
- ½ ounce lemon juice
- Add ice and shake
In your glass, add:
- ½ ounce Pama liqueur
Strain contents of shaker into glass over Pama
Top with:
- 2 ounces High Peaks Black Cherry Seltzer
- Drop pomegranate seeds in for garnish
The flavor will be tart with hints of bourbon and sweet undertone of pomegranate. The Black Cherry Seltzer pairs well with the pomegranate flavors and tartness of the Whiskey Sour notes. Consider this a holiday lemonade but for grown-ups!
