This policy replaces the version dated 26 May 2023, which described an online store this website no longer has. ## Who we are High Peaks is a New York adult-use cannabis brand made by Central Processors NY LLC, a licensed New York processor (NYS OCM License No. OCM-PROC-24-000061). "High Peaks", "we" and "us" mean that company. This policy covers highpeaks.com and our social media pages (the "Services"). ## The short version This website does not sell anything, has no accounts and runs no advertising trackers. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful; it does not tell us who you are. We receive personal information only when you choose to contact us. ## Information we receive - **Site analytics.** We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser, and how you arrived. Google sets first-party cookies (named _ga) to do this. We don't use it for advertising and don't combine it with anything else we hold. You can block it in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). - **What you send us.** If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it to reply and to handle your request. - **Server logs.** Our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically records technical information for every request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use this to keep the site secure and working. We do not use it to identify you or build a profile. - **Age confirmation.** When you confirm you are 21 or older, your browser stores that answer in session storage so you are not asked again on every page. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and is erased when you close the tab. - **Location, only if you ask.** On the Where to Buy page, "Use My Location" asks your browser for your position to sort dispensaries by distance. The calculation happens in your browser. Your location is not sent to us or stored. ## Services that load when you view the site To display the site your browser contacts a small number of third parties, which receive your IP address as part of any web request: Adobe Fonts (typefaces), OpenStreetMap (map images on Where to Buy), and Vercel (hosting). Their own privacy policies govern what they do with that information. Links to dispensaries, social networks and the Central Processors NY certificate library take you to sites we do not control. ## How we use and share information We use information to respond to you, operate and secure the Services, and comply with the law. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (such as our email and hosting providers), when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. ## Age The Services are intended only for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. ## Your choices and rights You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of any marketing emails at any time. Residents of California and of other states with privacy laws have the rights those laws provide, including the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define the terms. To make a request, contact us using the details below; we may need to verify your identity before acting on it. ## Retention and security We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and meet our legal and regulatory obligations, then delete it.
